Tara Donovan is an amazing artist doing incredible things with regular objects.
here's a piece she did using styrofoam cups. this could influcence design work too in many ways.

new resource

i was looking around to find late 1960s design and other stuff, when i came across

you can search by year or keyword. i dont think there's much graphic design, but lots of table, chairs, and functional objects.

drawings in trailer


there's a film called "Four Eyed Monsters" screening on valentine's day at Cinefest. anyway, the poster's kinda neat with drawing and they use a lot of drawing and writing in the trailer as well. check out the trailer
