Jerome Hill Foundation

My grant application for the Jerome Hill Foundation has been approved.
I'm working on more script writing and animatics to move forward with the film. Meeting monthly with other filmmakers has really helped keep the momentum going, hope to have a rough draft by late summer/early fall.

I encourage other artists and filmmakers to apply!

Monster Killa at Bartertown 9/28

Thanks to all those who came out to Bartertown. I had a good time drawing monsters and will be tweaking the process to do again. Visitors told me about their monsters and I drew them on paper. Some we destroyed,  made disappear, or loved and taken back home.

The House I Live In (2013)

Like many, I've been watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix and getting addicted. While that show is great entertainment, I heard about a documentary, The House I Live In, that takes a closer look at the Drug War and the effects on minorities, society, the government, police practices and prisons. I cannot give this a stronger recommendation.

It's available on many platforms, please take a look!

You can watch it for free on YouTube or stream on Netflix. Widely available.
It also features author, Michelle Alexander, who wrote The New Jim Crow.
